OUR STORY
Our story began with Marius Koen, our founder, who has been a part of the construction industry from a young age where he learned trade secrets and knowledge shared from generation to generation while working with his father. Marius started his career in 1992 and over the past 30 years, building over 200 houses, has established himself as a leader in the industry. Our team has undertaken a wide variety of building projects, from general maintenance and building extensions to larger architectural projects.
In 1996, one of our projects was awarded the Architectural Design of the Year under Ronald Hicks Architects, which speaks to the quality of our work. We pride ourselves on being known as master builders within the industry. Our visible craftsmanship, skills, and passion for construction are what sets us apart from the rest. We are committed to building lasting relationships with our customers, and we strive to ensure that every team member delivers exceptional performance on every project.

CONSTRUCTION PHASES
This is the first phase where we define the project goals and check if it is possible to execute them. We discuss with the owner and the architect about the requirements and take into consideration the local regulations. Every project has its unique challenges, and we also take into account the budget.
After the planning is done, we move on to the preconstruction phase. Here, we prepare the contract documents and submit building permit applications. We also consider subcontractors, structural engineers, and quantity surveyors required for the project.
We appoint a Principal-Agent to act on behalf of the client on-site, and we use a contract to protect both our clients and ourselves.
Once everything is ready, we move on to the execution phase. We provide our clients with a construction progress program, and our construction manager and contractor turn the plan into a real construction site. We also ensure quality control inspections and review technical submittals by architects, engineers, and consultants.
Finally, we come to the closing phase. Here, we not only complete the punch list but also walk you through the transition from the building site to occupancy.
We provide you with all project information like the construction closeout document list, all manuals, warranties, as-built and final accounting. We also advise you to change insurance from course of construction to permanent property insurance.
